The four regional NIHL divisions held their section meetings last weekend.

The discussions were very productive with teams and NIHL management working to make the competition as good as it can be for all involved.

While we hoped to announce full details of the competition format, dates and so on, there were a couple of issues which clubs took away for further discussion before submitting responses to NIHL HQ this weekend.

Once these replies have been checked and counted, a full release will be made regarding the 2024/25 season from start to finish.

NIHL general manager Haydn Hunter said: “I’d like to thank everyone who joined in the discussions. It was massively positive and looking for ways to get better.

“There were of course issues from last season which were raised and discussed the right way, and we have reached a conclusion which works for all parties involved.”
