MK Lightning continue to lead the way in the Planet Ice NIHL National Division, despite picking up one win from two in Gameweek 12.
Milton Keynes kicked off their weekend double-header against Solway Sharks with a convincing 4-1 win, but fell in overtime in Dumfries on Sunday.
They remain top, however, given Leeds Knights only played once, beating Telford Tigers 5-1 on Saturday.
Sheffield Steeldogs stay third, despite also splitting their games during the latest gameweek.
They won an entertaining game at the Slough Ice Arena on Saturday, beating Berkshire Bees 8-6. However, they couldn’t make it two from two on Sunday away at Peterborough Phantoms, who ran out emphatic 4-0 winners.
Berkshire are still bottom of the division, as they couldn’t pick up any points from their games against Sheffield and then Hull Seahawks on Sunday.
The Seahawks put an end to their six-game losing run with Sunday’s 6-3 win, after falling to Bristol Pitbulls on Saturday in a shootout defeat.
Swindon Wildcats were the only side to pick up four points this weekend, with both of their wins coming courtesy of impressive comebacks.
They defeated Romford Raiders on Saturday, before edging a narrow 4-3 contest at Telford on Sunday.
Romford managed to bounce back on Sunday after their defeat in Swindon, downing Bristol 6-3 at home.
