Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:

• Oli Endicott (Leeds Knights) | 1 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points
• Tim Wallace (MK Lightning) | 1 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points
• JJ Pitchley (Streatham Redhawks) | 1 game suspension – Unsportsmanlike conduct
• Ben McLellan (Widnes Wild) | 3 game suspension – Illegal check to the head
  • Additional comments: Player skated in with momentum. Arms were raised up into the opponent’s head (first point of contact).
• Tom Brierley (Hull Jets) | 2 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points
• Tom Brierley (Hull Jets) | 3 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 15 penalty points

Total: 5 game suspension for Tom Brierley.

• Ollie Denis (Guildford Phoenix) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
• Luke Martin (Haringey Huskies) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
• Paul Davies (Telford Tigers NIHL 2) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
• Luke Burdon (Billingham Buccaneers) | 3 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting an unwilling opponent. Player was the instigator and failed to stop at the referee’s instruction.
• Luke Burdon (Billingham Buccaneers) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
• Luke Burdon (Billingham Buccaneers) | 3 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 15 penalty points
