A four-point weekend for MK Lightning saw them return to the top of the Planet Ice NIHL National Division.
Milton Keynes started the weekend with a 7-3 win at home to Romford Raiders, followed by a comfortable 6-2 away win at Bristol Pitbulls on Sunday.
The former leaders, Leeds Knights, fell to third after splitting their double-header with Peterborough Phantoms – both results going the way of the home team.
That meant Swindon Wildcats climbed up to second, although they, too, dropped points during Gameweek 20.
The Wildcats were beaten in a shootout by fourth-placed Hull Seahawks on Saturday before picking up a 4-1 win away at Sheffield Steeldogs on Sunday.
The Seahawks enjoyed a perfect gameweek, following up their tense win in Swindon with a 6-1 victory at home to over Solway Sharks on Sunday.
Elsewhere, bottom club Berkshire Bees won their ninth game of the season on Friday with a shootout win over Bristol, but subsequently fell to defeat on Saturday away in Dumfries.
And Telford Tigers were beaten twice over the weekend, falling to defeat against both Sheffield and Romford.
