Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:

• Lucas Price (Telford Tigers) | 3 game suspension after DOPS/GRP review – Unsportsmanlike conduct
• Morgan Parsons (Oxford City Stars) | 2 game suspension – Unsportsmanlike conduct
  • Additional comments: Use of obscene gesture towards home team bench and /or support.
• James Buckingham (Guildford Phoenix) | 2 game suspension – Kneeing
  • Additional comments: Player recklessly endangered the opponent, who was injured and didn’t return to the game.
• James Buckingham (Guildford Phoenix) | 2 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points

Total: 4 game suspension for James Buckingham.

• Ben Fox (Bradford Bulldogs) | 2 game suspension – Boarding
  • Additional comments: Player lifted his opponent to turn towards the boards with him in a vulnerable position, throwing them into the boards at high speed and recklessly endangering them.
