Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:

• George Howe (Swindon Wildcats NIHL 2) | 2 game suspension – Illegal check to the head
  • Additional comments: First point of contact was the head. Two hands were on the stick, and the action caused reckless endangerment of the opponent.
• Deaken Fielder (Telford Tigers) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
• Joshua Batch (Bristol Pitbulls) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
• Renny Marr (Swindon Wildcats) | 2 game suspension – Fighting
• Benjamin Marples (Sutton Sting) | 1 game suspension – Spearing
  • Additional comments: Player produced a stabbing motion to the lower stomach/upper groin area of an opponent. Medical attention was given.
