Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:

• Joe Morris (Cardiff Canucks) | 2 game suspension – Hooking
  • Additional comments: Player placed his stick between the legs of an opponent, who was in a vulnerable position. A hooking motion was used and the stick made contact with the opponent’s groin area.
• Kirsty Hodgins (Leeds Roses) | 4 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Player was the instigator and aggressor, grabbing the face cage of an unwilling opponent before throwing several punches. Player failed to stop when instructed by match officials, then attempted to start a second altercation. Two games of the suspension to be served, with a further two games suspended.
• Carlton Witter (Lee Valley Lions) | 4 game suspension – Illegal check to the head
  • Additional comments: Deliberate use of the stick, aimed at the face cage. Player travelled some distance to engage opponent.
• Dylan Webb (Bristol Pitbulls 2) | 10 game suspension – Dangerous actions
  • Additional comments: Following DRS review, player is assessed a 5+GM for dangerous action. Offence took place after the whistle and was not a hockey play. Opponent’s head/neck was grasped and led to a forceful takedown, recklessly endangering the opponent and resulting in injury, as supported by the injury report form. Seven games of the suspension to be served, with three games suspended until the end of December 2026 pending no further instances of unsportsmanlike conduct).
• Joe Miller (Lee Valley Lions) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
• Robert Dowell (Chelmsford Warriors) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
• Ollie Shone (Bristol Pitbulls 2) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Player was the instigator and aggressor.
• Soloman Stoodley (Bristol Pitbulls 2) | 1 game suspension – Checking from behind
  • Additional comments: Clear check through the numbers.
• Dylan Harcourt (Altrincham Aces) | 3 game suspension – 2 games for abuse of officials and 1 game for exceeding 10 penalty points
