Applications are now invited for head coaches, assistant coaches, goalie coaches and team managers to support Showcase 2026.

The event provides an opportunity for coaches to operate within a nationally aligned framework, contributing to player evaluation while also developing their own understanding of the England and Great Britain pathway structure.

Coaches appointed to U17 and U15 teams will:

• Remain embedded with their team throughout the weekend
• Lead and support bench operations during games
• Contribute to structured player evaluation
• Support classroom delivery and video review processes
• Participate in coach development workshops delivered during the event

Delivery across age groups will be supported by the UK Ice Hockey Foundation, ensuring consistent evaluation standards and alignment between identification, feedback and progression planning.

This is not simply a tournament role: it is a development opportunity within the broader Road to GB framework, providing insight into national expectations, benchmarking standards and progression criteria.

Selected coaches will be invited to a future online meeting to go through expectations and align them to the expectations of our development pathway.
