This summer, Leeds Lightning will host the 2nd annual Greg Marshall All-Star Memorial Game, in memory of former Planet Ice Leeds rink manager Greg Marshall.
The game will feature a mix of players from across all levels, ranging from NIHL league talents such as Kieran Brown, Adam Barnes and Davey Lawrence, right down to recreational league players.
A Leeds Lightning spokesperson said: “It’s a fantastic coming-together of the hockey community, all in support of two great causes: Live Life Give Life, an organ transplant charity, and the Royal British Legion.”
Greg passed away at the age of 26 whilst waiting for a heart transplant after undergoing various operations.
Tickets for the memorial game, which takes place on Sunday 20 July (5:30pm face-off), cost £12 for adults and £6 for children. They are available to buy here.
