Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:
- Owen Yarrow (Whitley Warriors) | 3 game suspension – Fighting
- Additional comments: Fight occurred at the end of the game, against an unwilling combatant. Player was the instigator and aggressor.
- Owen Yarrow (Whitley Warriors) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting
- Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
- Owen Yarrow (Whitley Warriors) | 3 game suspension – Fighting (second fight)
- Additional comments: Fight occurred at the end of the game, against an unwilling combatant. Player was the instigator and aggressor.
- Owen Yarrow (Whitley Warriors) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting (second fight)
- Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
- Owen Yarrow (Whitley Warriors) | Mandatory 2 game suspension – Triggering a previously-suspended charge for fighting, which was announced in our disciplinary notes on Saturday 4 January.
- Owen Yarrow (Whitley Warriors) | 2 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points
- Owen Yarrow (Whitley Warriors) | 3 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 15 penalty points
Total: 15 game suspension for Owen Yarrow.
- Jay Lucas (Whitley Warriors) | 3 game suspension – Fighting
- Additional comments: Fight occurred at the end of the game, against an unwilling combatant. Player was the instigator and aggressor.
- Jay Lucas (Whitley Warriors) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting
- Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
Total: 4 game suspension for Jay Lucas.
