Following last weekend’s NIHL action, the England Ice Hockey discipline department have issued the following sanctions:
- Jake Price (Telford Tigers) – 2 game suspension – Fighting an unwilling opponent
- Josh Nertney (Billingham Buccaneers) – 11 game suspension. 5 games for fighting, 4 games for spearing and 2 games for exceeding penalty points threshold
- Ethan McLaughlin (Billingham Buccaneers) – 2 game suspension – Fighting
- Chris Lutz (Billingham Buccaneers) – 14 game suspension – 2 games for fighting, 10 games for physical abuse of officials and 2 games for exceeding penalty points threshold
- Daniel Hughes (Billingham Buccaneers) – 4 game suspension – Spearing
- Luke Clouting-Thomas (Nottingham Lions) – 2 game suspension – Unsportsmanlike conduct
- Matthew Keeley (Billingham Buccaneers) – 2 game suspension – Fighting
- Ian Weedall (Billingham Buccaneers) – 6 game suspension – Game misconduct penalty. 2 games to be served immediately, with a further 4 games suspended pending team improvement. If 25 additional points are accumulated for the team or a major incident review, these 4 games will be added on top of any further suspension
- Liam Preece (Telford Tigers 2) – 6 game suspension. 4 games for spearing and 2 games for exceeding penalty points threshold
