Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:
- Joseph Matthewman (Sheffield Scimitars) | 2 game suspension – Slashing
- Additional comments: Upward reverse slash into the groin area, and contact made. One game of the suspension to be served, with a further game suspended pending no further instances of a 5+game for slashing until the end of the 2025/26 season.
- Aston Lacey (Solent Junior Devils) | 2 game suspension – Exceeding 15 penalty points
- Lewis Shelton (Chelmsford Warriors) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
- Luke Dreelan (Slough Spitfires) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
- Scott Anda (Slough Spitfires) | 3 game suspension – Unsportsmanlike conduct
- Jemma Dilley (Nottingham Vipers) | 3 game suspension – Checking from behind
- Additional comments: Opponent was unaware of the hit and in a vulnerable position, causing reckless endangerment. Two games of the suspension to be served, with a further game suspended pending no further instances of a 5+game for checking until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Due to the Christmas break, the disciplinary update for Saturday 27 December will be published on Monday 29 December.
