Following last weekend’s NIHL action, the England Ice Hockey discipline department have issued the following sanctions:
- Nick Green (Chelmsford Warriors) – 3 game suspension – Surpassing +15 penalty points threshold
- Bobby Ragan (Cardiff Fire) – 2 game suspension – Fighting an unwilling opponent
- Rob Price (Cardiff Fire) – 6 game suspension – Illegal check to the head
- James Wood (Bristol Pitbulls NIHL 2) – 8 game suspension – Fighting an unwilling, downed opponent (4-5 punches), aggressive intent with opponent unable to defend himself, resulting in a serious injury (concussion)
- Deakan Fielder (Telford Tigers) – 2 game suspension – Surpassing +10 penalty points threshold
- Ross Venus (MK Lightning) – 6 game suspension – 4 games for boarding, reckless and dangerous hit, player not aware of the hit and in a vulnerable position. 2 games for surpassing +10 penalty points threshold
