Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:

• Dan Scott (Invicta Dynamos) | 2 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Aggressor, repeatedly punching unwilling opponent.
• Regan O’Neil (Invicta Dynamos) | 3 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Aggressor, repeatedly punching unwilling opponent who was initially restrained by a match official.
• Jarvis Mewett (Invicta Dynamos) | 1 game suspension – Elbowing
  • Additional comments: First point of contact was the head.
• Harvey Briggs (Romford Buccaneers) | 2 game suspension – Boarding
  • Additional comments: Player thrown head first into the boards, recklessly endangering the opponent. No injury reported.
• Matt France (Haringey Huskies) | 2 game suspension – Spearing
• Luke Martin (Haringey Huskies) | 2 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: One game for being the instigator and aggressor, one game for fighting.

• Sammy Bryant (Bristol Pitbulls NIHL 2) | 1 game suspension – Cross-checking
  • Additional comments: Point of contact upper chest area, delivered recklessly and endangering the opponent.
• Sammy Bryant (Bristol Pitbulls NIHL 2) | 2 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Punched a downed opponent.
• Sammy Bryant (Bristol Pitbulls NIHL 2) | 2 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points
• Sammy Bryant (Bristol Pitbulls NIHL 2) | 3 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 15 penalty points

Total: 8 game suspension for Sammy Bryant

• Thomas Milnes (Deeside Ducks) | 1 game suspension – Kicking
  • Additional comments: Kicked out at an opponent who had legally checked him.
