Document Upload Guidance

Document Upload Requirements

  • All England Ice Hockey players and non-playing staff must upload a copy of their birth certificate or passport.
  • If re-registering, please upload your documents at this time as Gameday currently isn’t pulling through previous documents. We are looking for a fix.
  • This applies to anyone who has not previously registered via GameDay.
  • If you hold an existing ITC (International Transfer Certificate), it must also be uploaded.
  • All documents should be uploaded at the end of the application.
  • Missing documents will delay your application.

Non-Playing Members

  • Registration will only be approved and insurance activated once role-specific requirements are met.
  • You do not need to re-upload existing qualifications already logged with the Registration Secretary.
  • Medical professionals must upload a copy of their license/registration.
  • Any members must provide ID (birth certificate or passport) for processing.
  • Upload documents at the end of the form.

DBS Check Requirements

  • England Ice Hockey requires an Enhanced DBS Check (with Barred Children’s List) for roles involving children and young people.
  • Must be completed via Vibrant Nation, preferably through your club’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
  • You should sign up for Vibrant Nation’s annual update service to avoid repeat costs.
  • Roles that require a DBS:
    • Chair
    • Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
    • Coach
    • Manager
    • Equipment Manager
    • Medic
  • DBS checks must be completed before registration can be approved. This does not need to be uploaded. Please speak to your DSL for further guidance.
