Faye Andrews steps down from EIH Board

England Ice Hockey (EIH) can confirm that Faye Andrews has decided to step down from the Board of Directors.
Faye re-joined the Board in 2024 and took on the responsibility of providing oversight for the Women’s National Ice Hockey League (WNIHL).
Faye Andrews commented: “I’ve been involved in ice hockey for a long time, and that certainly won’t stop – I just feel that now is the right time to step back from my responsibilities on the Board, due to time pressures alongside my career and Women’s League GM duties.
“The sport is in a good place with the merger taking shape, and I am excited to see the next phase take flight”.
Duncan Hough, EIH chair and IHUK Board Director, said of the news: “Faye has played an important part in the journey of the sport to this point – we are on the cusp of transformation into a structure that will push the game forward once again.
“We thank Faye for her efforts, and wish her well in her other roles.”
