The Planet Ice NIHL National Division is excited to announce the fixtures for the highly-anticipated 2024/25 season.
Following an exhilarating previous season where Leeds Knights secured their second consecutive title, Peterborough Phantoms emerged victorious in the play-offs and MK Lightning claimed the cup, the new season promises to deliver thrilling ice hockey action from start to finish.
The full fixture list is available here.
The new season will begin on Friday 13 September when Swindon Wildcats welcome the newly-named Berkshire Bees to the Link Centre.
Last season’s league champions Leeds will start their season north of the border with a trip to Solway Sharks on Saturday 14 September, while play-off winners Peterborough play twice on the opening weekend – away at Berkshire on the same day as the Knights before hosting Sheffield Steeldogs less than 24 hours later.
National Cup holders Milton Keynes will start at home to Romford Raiders on September 14, then they will travel to Leeds the following day.
Other fixtures on the opening weekend are Bristol Pitbulls at home to Hull Seahawks (September 14), Romford against Swindon and Telford Tigers at home to Solway (both Sunday 15 September).
Supporters will need to wait until Sunday 17 November for a rematch of last season’s play-off final between the Phantoms and Knights, taking place at Planet Ice Peterborough.

This season, the cup competition will see a streamlined format, making it even more intense and engaging.
The qualifying stage will consist of 10 games instead of the previous 20. Each team will play every other team once, resulting in five home and five away games. The semi-finals and finals of the cup competition (both over two legs, home and away) will aim to be completed by the end of December, subject to fixture availability.
The regular season is scheduled to conclude in Sunday 23 March. All fixtures for the final weekend can be found here:
This will be immediately followed by the play-offs, which will be contested by the top eight teams over three weekends: March 29-30, April 5-6, and April 12-13.
The culmination of the season will be the Final Four event over the weekend of April 19/20 in Coventry.
With the new season on the horizon, teams are gearing up to compete at the highest level, bringing passion and skill to the ice.
We look forward to welcoming fans back to arenas across the country for what promises to be another unforgettable season of Planet Ice NIHL National Division ice hockey.
