New England Ice Hockey chair appointed

We are excited to announce the appointment of Nick Cross as the new chair of England Ice Hockey.

Nick brings significant hockey experience with him, having played in the English game for 20+ years, representing Streatham, Slough, Basingstoke and Guildford at club level.

On the international stage, he represented Great Britain at every level from junior through to the senior team.

He currently works as a senior executive in the technology sector, leading a software sales business across Asia, Pacific and Japan, following many successful years building and accelerating sales teams and revenues across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Outside of work, he has a great passion for playing and watching all sports, with golf and skiing his favourite pastimes when his schedule allows. Nick is also married with three young children.

On the appointment, England Ice Hockey vice-chair Duncan Hough said: “We are all delighted to welcome Nick to the team.

“Nick’s passion for ice hockey is abundantly clear and his previous playing experience – spanning over two decades – speaks for itself.

“Nick was a fantastic competitor with bags of quality and enthusiasm, and I am sure he will bring similar energy to England Ice Hockey and play a hands-on role in facilitating positive change for the sport in this country.”
