Leeds Knights will have the chance to reclaim top spot in the Planet Ice NIHL National Division this weekend.
A four-point weekend last time out for the Knights helped them cut the gap at the top, with both Swindon Wildcats and Milton Keynes Lightning both dropping points during Gameweek 18.
With Milton Keynes in action just once this weekend, away at Sheffield Steeldogs on Saturday, Leeds have the opportunity to leapfrog them, but only if they pick up maximum points across their three games this weekend.
First, the Knights are at home to kick off the weekend’s action against Sheffield on Friday.
They travel to third-placed Swindon on Saturday before another home game against Berkshire Bees on Sunday, who were victorious last time out against Leeds and notched a win over the Lightning last weekend.
As well as a tough home game against Leeds, Swindon are away at Telford Tigers to close the gameweek on Sunday.
Elsewhere, fourth takes on fifth as Hull Seahawks host Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday. The Seahawks are also in action away at National Cup finalists Romford Raiders on Sunday.
The Phantoms return home on Sunday to take on Solway Sharks, who are also in action on Saturday at home to Bristol Pitbulls.
And the current bottom two will do battle on Saturday, as Berkshire Bees face Telford Tigers at the Slough Ice Arena.
