With three gameweeks to go in the Planet Ice NIHL National Division, there’s still plenty on the line in the race for the playoffs. 

With the top six having all confirmed their spot in the end-of-season finale, seventh-placed Romford Raiders will hope to take a step closer to joining them this weekend.

They start Gameweek 26 away at Bristol Pitbulls, who dropped to the foot of the table last weekend, before ending it with a home game against league leaders MK Lightning.

Below Romford, Telford will hope to keep their three-game winning run going as they prepare to face Sheffield Steeldogs and Leeds Knights – both of whom are already confirmed for the playoffs.

Leeds still have plenty play for, however, as they look to catch Milton Keynes in the two-way fight for the league title.

The Knights’ opening game of the weekend sees a tricky Yorkshire derby against Hull Seahawks, who enter the latest gameweek six points below Swindon Wildcats having picked up just one point from a possible four during the most recent round of fixtures.

For table-topping Milton Keynes, their weekend starts at home to Peterborough Phantoms. The pair met last weekend too, Lightning running out impressive 6-1 winners on the road.

After splitting the points in their double-header against Romford last week, Solway Sharks know there is little room for error this time around.

Their weekend starts in Dumfries against Swindon on Saturday night and ends with a trip to the Seahawks. Against Hull this season, three of the five fixtures have been won by the away side.
