There are some intriguing fixtures to look out for during Gameweek 2 of the Planet Ice NIHL National Division season.

Hull Seahawks and Leeds Knights, the only two teams to have started their season with perfect four-point weekends, both come up against Telford Tigers this weekend.

The Seahawks start by welcoming the Tigers to the Hull Ice Arena, before the Knights round off their weekend with a trip to Telford.

Hull’s other game of the weekend comes away on Sunday evening at Solway Sharks, who the Knights already defeated on the opening weekend. Similarly, Bristol Pitbulls – heavily beaten on the opening weekend by the Seahawks – face off against Leeds as they look to pick up their first points of the season.

Outside of the top two, there are lots more eye-catching fixtures to look out for.

Last season’s National Cup winners MK Lightning welcome Sheffield Steeldogs to Planet Ice MK, in the home side’s only game of the weekend.

Lightning won once and lost once on the opening weekend, whereas the Steeldogs started their season in impressive fashion by overcoming Peterborough Phantoms on the road during Gameweek 1.

An early-season mid-table clash will pit the Romford Raiders and Peterborough against one another on Sunday evening, and third-placed Swindon Wildcats’ weekend sees them visit a Berkshire Bees side still looking for their first win of the season.
