Leeds Knights retained their place at the top of the Planet Ice NIHL National Division, despite picking up just one win in Gameweek 4.
The Knights fell to a surprise 2-1 defeat at Berkshire Bees on Saturday, handing them their second win of the season, before returning to winning ways at home against Solway Sharks the following day.
They remain at the division’s summit, however, after Hull Seahawks were only able to pick up one win over the weekend.
They were beaten in regulation for the first time this season by MK Lightning on Saturday, before defeating Romford Raiders 5-2 on Sunday to ensure they wouldn’t end the weekend empty-handed.
Peterborough Phantoms picked up two wins over the weekend, with a shootout victory over Bristol Pitbulls and a tightly contested 4-3 victory at home to fierce rivals MK Lightning lifting them into fifth.
Elsewhere, Swindon Wildcats saw their league position drop as they lost their only game of the weekend, at home to Sheffield Steeldogs.
The Steeldogs were victorious on Sunday as well, defeating Berkshire 7-2.
And Telford Tigers picked up their first win of the season at their seventh attempt, running out 5-2 victors over Bristol, a day after tasting defeat against Romford Raiders.
The Pitbulls were the only side to play twice and fail to win this weekend, but they remain off the foot of the table as their shootout loss to Peterborough saw them move onto three points.
