Quest for Quebec 2025

On the back of a successful 2024 trip to Le Tournoi, the England National Team Programme (ENTP) are delighted to announce that they will send a boys AND girls Under 13s team to the 2025 event.

Rachel Gay, ENTP general manager, and Ben Pitchley, general manager of the Elite Player Pathway, have worked closely with the tournament organisers in Quebec to secure places for both of our Under 13s teams for the event in February 2025, the largest tournament for under 13 players in the world.

The boys were unlucky last year, when they reached the semi -final in their category – losing to the eventual winners.

The team, led by Rob Lamey, Alan Hague and Tom Annetts, struggled with illness in the camp, but they gave a valiant effort to reach the latter stages of the event and we hope the team travelling over to North America will go further in 2025.

England were proud to be part of the first ever Girls U13 tournament at Le Tournoi in February 2023. Due to the success of that event, many new teams wanted to attend in 2024, and unfortunately we were unable to secure a place.

However, in 2025 we will be having both a boys and girls team flying the ENTP flag at Le Tournoi, and we look forward to seeing them against some of the best teams from around the globe.

Rob & Josie Lamey will be lead coaches for the tournament, and the squads will travel on 12 February, 2025.

The first Quest for Quebec trial took place recently in Lee Valley. Good luck to all players trialling this season – we will have more news as the process moves towards squad selection.
