In collaboration with Ice Hockey UK, we’ve updated the ITC Policy, Process and FAQs to make routes and eligibility crystal clear.
Thank you for your feedback – transparency and clarity matter, even when it means mid-cycle tweaks.
Key points
- Approval vs eligibility: Day-8 IIHF auto-approval is a system event; players can only play once IHUK issues the “Eligibility Effective Date/Time.”
- Routes by age: Seniors via the IHUK portal (unchanged). Juniors via email to IHUKAdmin@icehockeyuk.co.uk using the junior ITC and (if needed) Unlimited transfer forms.
- Junior unlimited (same primary club): No re-application and no annual renewal fee (exceptions: citizenship change, or turning 18 before season start).
- Training vs playing (juniors): May train while awaiting clearance and registration approval, but cannot play any sanctioned competition until registered and the Eligibility Effective Date/Time is issued.
