Volunteer of the Month: Tom Annetts

We would like to congratulate Tom Annetts, who receives our England Ice Hockey Volunteer of the Month award for September!

As well as being part of the coaching setup at his local club, Slough Jets, Tom has also been heavily involved with this summer’s Junior Jamborees.

Over recent weeks, nine such jamborees have taken place across the country, welcoming over 800 junior players and 90 coaches, managers and off-ice officials.

The Junior Jamborees provide a fun and enjoyable opportunity for juniors to continue their development, and Tom has played a hands-on role in the success of this year’s events.

He has been at the majority of this summer’s jamborees, managing the fixtures on the ice and working in conjunction with the event organiser, players, coaches and managers.

It is thanks to the hard work of individuals like Tom that junior players have these opportunities to compete against one another, and we would like to recognise his tireless efforts over recent weeks to aid the overwhelming success of our Junior Jamborees.
