As the Women’s National Ice Hockey League (WNIHL) season reaches its climax and league champions begin to emerge, the WNIHL is pleased to confirm full details for the 2026 WNIHL Finals Weekend, taking place from Saturday 23 May through to Bank Holiday Monday 25 May.
Everyone Active iceSheffield will once again host this flagship event, welcoming the top teams from across the country for an action‑packed programme of 15 games over three days, celebrating the very best of women’s ice hockey in the UK.
Playoff champions will be crowned across all WNIHL divisions, from Under 16s through to the Elite League.

Tickets for the WNIHL Finals Weekend are priced at just £6* per person, granting access to all games across the entire weekend.

Event Schedule
The weekend gets underway on Saturday 23 May, featuring a full schedule of six semi‑final matches across the Elite League, Division 1 and Under 16s, as teams battle for a place in Sunday’s finals.
On Sunday 24 May, the semi‑final action continues with the WNIHL Division 2 Valerie Leagues, before finals coverage begins later in the day. The WNIHL Division 2 Elizabeth League semi‑finals will then take place.
The Finals Weekend concludes on Monday 25 May, with the finals for both the WNIHL Division 2 Valerie and Elizabeth leagues.
In total, supporters will be able to enjoy 15 games showcasing the best women’s ice hockey talent in the country — all for just £6.
