Congratulations to Caroline Fillery, who has been chosen as our latest England Ice Hockey Volunteer of the Month!
Caroline has been part of the Chelmsford Chieftains match night setup for eight years and is regularly seen selling 50/50 draw tickets for the club.
She was nominated by a number of people within the ice hockey community, highlighting the esteem in which she is held by those she interacts with on a weekly basis.
Caroline has been described as the “life and soul” of a Chieftains match night and is always known to go above and beyond for the club, helping with sales of merchandise, welcoming new fans into the rink and much more.
She has also helped raise a phenomenal amount for the club and its chosen charities.
Those who nominated Caroline were also quick to note her infectious personality and love she has for her role at the club.
Caroline has a vested interest in matters on the ice, with her son, TJ Fillery, currently featuring for the Chieftains for the seventh season in a row.
