A three-game weekend will give Planet Ice NIHL National Division leaders Leeds Knights the opportunity to stretch their cushion at the top of the table, starting on Friday night.
The Knights visit Raiders IHC, in a repeat of the fixture which saw them run out 4-1 winners at Planet Ice Leeds less than a week ago.
The Knights’ action-packed weekend will continue with a trip to Swindon Wildcats on Saturday before returning north for a home game against Telford Tigers the following day.
Nearest challengers MK Lightning start the weekend three points behind the Knights and full of confidence, having overturned a one-goal first leg deficit against the Wildcats on Thursday night to book their place in the National Division final.
Lightning visit Bristol Pitbulls on Saturday then host third-placed Swindon in a mouth-watering affair on Sunday evening.
In-form Hull Seahawks will look to extend their nine-game winning run this weekend with games against Sheffield Steeldogs and Raiders IHC, while Solway Sharks’ only game of the weekend sees them make the long trip to Slough as they lock horns with Bees IHC on Saturday.
There is also an intriguing battle at the bottom of the division as Sheffield Steeldogs and Bristol Pitbulls – currently separated by seven points – prepare to do battle at the Bauer Arena.
