There’s plenty to look out for during Gameweek 13 of the Planet Ice NIHL National Division, with teams in the top four preparing to lock horns. 

One of the biggest games of the weekend will come from iceSheffield, where Sheffield Steeldogs host league leaders MK Lightning on Sunday afternoon.

Milton Keynes held onto top spot last weekend, despite dropping points. This Saturday, the table-toppers will also host Bristol Pitbulls, who come into the weekend second-bottom in the standings.

In the chasing pack, Leeds Knights’ weekend will conclude in tricky fashion at home to fourth-placed Swindon Wildcats.

The pair are also in action on Saturday. Leeds travel to basement side Berkshire Bees, who will be looking to avoid a fifth successive defeat, while Swindon welcome Solway Sharks to the Link Centre as the pair face off for the fourth time this season.

Elsewhere, Romford Raiders will look to build on the success of their NIHL Cup semi-final first leg victory over MK Lightning in midweek when they take on the two sides immediately below them in the standings.

They open their latest gameweek with a trip to the Hull Ice Arena to take on the Seahawks, before returning home to face Peterborough Phantoms the following day.

Telford Tigers’ recent upturn in form came to a head last weekend when they were beaten twice. They will have their sights set on climbing the standings once again, with games to come against the Phantoms on Saturday, then a home clash with Hull to round off the weekend.
