Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:

• Dominic Wealthall (MK Thunder) | 2 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points
• Aston Lacey (Solent Junior Devils) | 2 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points
• Liam Stenton (Solway Sharks) | 1 game suspension after DOPS/GRP review (served on February 16) – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting, whilst tolerated during game play, is not acceptable between periods and will be penalised.
• Kyle Carruth (Solway Sharks) | 1 game suspension (served on February 16) – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points
• Declan Jones (Hull Seahawks) | 1 game suspension after DOPS/GRP review (served on February 16) – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting, whilst tolerated during game play, is not acceptable between periods and will be penalised.
• Rhys Edwards (Hull Seahawks) | 1 game suspension after DOPS/GRP review (served on February 16) – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting, whilst tolerated during game play, is not acceptable between periods and will be penalised.
• Bobby Chamberlain (Hull Seahawks) | 1 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points
• Liam Morris (Berkshire Bees) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
• Liam Morris (Berkshire Bees) | 1 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 15 penalty points

Total: 2 game suspension for Liam Morris.

• Lee Bonner (Hull Seahawks) | 4 game suspension after DOPS/GRP review – Illegal check to the head
  • Additional comments: The checked player was not in possession of the puck – it had been passed to a team-mate on the boards. The check made was poorly-timed, and the initial point of contact was the shoulder of the Hull player into the neck/head area of his opponent. An injury report was submitted, and it was noted that the Sheffield player was not available for their next game.
• Mason Alderson (Solway Sharks) | 2 game suspension after DOPS/GRP review  (one suspended pending no further instances of this nature before the end of the 2024/25 season) – Checking from behind
  • Additional comments: Opponent slows and is hit from behind, through the numbers, and is propelled into the board face-first.
• Mason Alderson (Solway Sharks) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
• Mason Alderson (Solway Sharks) | 1 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 10 penalty points
• Mason Alderson (Solway Sharks) | 1 game suspension – Hitting threshold of 15 penalty points

Total: 5 game suspension (1 suspended) for Mason Alderson.

• Alex Jones (Sheffield Titans) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
• Ronnie Grimes (Altrincham Aces) | Mandatory 1 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Fighting in the last five minutes of the game.
