Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:
- Jack Sansby (Peterborough Phantoms NIHL 2) | 2 game suspension – 1 game for fighting and 1 game for exceeding 10 penalty points.
- Aston Lacey (Solent Devils) | 2 game suspension – 1 game for fighting and 1 game for exceeding 10 penalty points.
- Kian Lloyd (Chelmsford Warriors) | 2 game suspension – Fighting
- Additional comments: Fighting an unwilling and downed opponent who was in a vulnerable position, recklessly endangering them.
- McKenzie Parsons (Bristol Pitbulls NIHL 2) | 3 game suspension – Fighting
- Additional comments: Player was the instigator and aggressor, fighting an unwilling and defenceless, downed opponent. Player to serve a two game suspension, with a further match suspended pending no further instances of a 5+game for fighting until the end of the 2025/26 season.
- Ciaran Wilson (Oxford Rising Stars) | 3 game suspension – Boarding
- Additional comments: Player was thrown violently into the boards, causing reckless endangerment. Player to serve a two game suspension, with a further match suspended pending no further instances of a 5+game for boarding until the end of the 2025/26 season.
- Oliver Hemmings-Maher (Slough Jets) | 3 game suspension – Spearing
- Additional comments: Spearing action with an upwards slash to the area of opposing player’s testicles.
- Luke Smital (Slough Jets) | 1 game suspension – Abuse of officials
