Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:
- Harrison Booth (Kingston Sharks) | 5 game suspension – 3 games for Cross-checking, 1 game for fighting and 1 game for exceeding 10 penalty points.
- Additional comments: Further to a DRS review, player received a 5+GM Fighting; Unwilling combatant & in a vulnerable position and 5+GM Cross Checking; Downed & vulnerable opponent, recklessly endangering opponent.
- Billy Woods (Invicta Mustangs) | 3 game suspension – Fighting
- Additional comments: Further to a DRS review, the 5-minute major awarded during the game has been upgraded to a 5+GM for Fighting; Instigator & Aggressor, Unwilling combatant & in a vulnerable position.
- Joe Stephenson (Guildford Phoenix) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
- Jake Stoodley (Guildford Phoenix) | 2 game suspension – Roughing
- Additional comments: Blocker punch to the head. Dangerous action with high risk of injury.
- George Howe (Bristol Pitbulls NIHL2) | 2 game suspension – Fighting
- Additional comments: Fighting after the buzzer. Continuing after intervention by officials.
- Joseff Brickell (Bristol Pitbulls NIHL2) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
- Thomas Barry (Blackburn Hawks) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
- Additional comments: Fighting, Aggressor & Unwilling combatant, multiple punches thrown.
