The action continues once again this weekend in the Planet Ice NIHL National Division, with a full set of fixtures on the cards.
Kicking off the weekend, league leaders Leeds Knights make the journey north to face Solway Sharks on Friday evening.
The Knights sit just two points ahead of their nearest challengers MK Lightning and they will be hoping to make it another four-point weekend when they host Bristol Pitbulls on Sunday.
The Pitbulls, who currently sit five points adrift at the bottom of the table, will be hoping to cause an upset against the division’s top side but not before hosting Solway Sharks on Saturday.
Lightning will be keen to keep the pressure on the Knights with a home fixture against Telford Tigers on Saturday, before travelling to Hull Seahawks the following day. The Seahawks endured two difficult outings last weekend and they will look to bounce back to maintain their 5th place spot with a trip to Raiders IHC on Saturday before their clash against MK Lightning.
Raiders IHC, meanwhile, will do battle with Bees IHC in Slough a day after the conclusion of their game against the Seahawks.
Bees start their weekend off with a trip to 3rd placed Swindon Wildcats on Saturday evening. The Wildcats will follow up this home fixture with another just 24 hours later as they host Peterborough Phantoms at the Link Centre.
The Wildcats leapfrogged over the Phantoms in the table last weekend after they suffered a double defeat, and now Slava Koulikov will be expecting a reaction from his team starting on Saturday with a trip to Sheffield Steeldogs.
The Steeldogs will then round out their weekend by travelling to Telford a day later.
