The action continues to heat up in the Planet Ice NIHL National Division as we venture further into the winter months for Gameweek 12.

New league leaders MK Lightning have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table, with now-second-placed side Leeds Knights only in action once this weekend.

Milton Keynes are involved in the weekend’s only double-header, as they take on Solway Sharks twice over the course of the next gameweek.

Leeds host Telford Tigers on Saturday in their only game this weekend.

Third-placed Sheffield Steeldogs can potentially climb into the top two this weekend if results go their way.

They’re on the road twice this weekend. First, they travel to Berkshire Bees on Saturday, before taking on Peterborough Phantoms on Sunday.

Elsewhere, Hull Seahawks will be looking to end their current five-game losing run and pick up a first win since the start of November when they take on the league’s current bottom two.

The Seahawks visit Bristol Pitbulls on Saturday, before returning home to take on Berkshire Bees the following night.

After their home matchup against Hull on Saturday, Bristol travel to Romford Raiders on Sunday.

The Raiders, who have their National Cup semi-final first leg against Milton Keynes Lightning on Wednesday, are in action twice over the weekend, travelling to Swindon Wildcats on Saturday before their meeting with Bristol.

And Swindon are in action to end the weekend’s fixtures when they travel to Telford on Sunday.
