The excitement continues to build across the Planet Ice NIHL National Division as we head into Gameweek 3 of the 2024/25 season.

Hull Seahawks and Leeds Knights are the only two sides to boast 100% records, with four wins from their opening four fixtures.

The Knights, last season’s league champions, travel to third-placed Swindon Wildcats on Saturday before returning home to face Bristol Pitbulls on Sunday.

Swindon, who are yet to lose in regulation time so far this season, travel to Peterborough Phantoms after hosting Leeds.

Hull Seahawks are only in action once this weekend, away at Romford Raiders on Sunday.

Towards the foot of the table, the two sides yet to pick up a win so far this season go head-to-head as Telford Tigers host Berkshire Bees to round off the weekend’s action.

The pair have the opportunity to pick up their first win of the season the day prior, however, with Berkshire hosting MK Lightning and the Tigers travelling north of the border to do battle with Solway Sharks.

Coincidentally, MK Lightning and Solway’s other game of the weekend comes against each other, with the Sharks making the trip to Planet Ice MK on Sunday.

Sheffield Steeldogs, who sit seventh with one win, one loss and one overtime loss on their record after the opening two gameweeks, also only play once this weekend.

They host Peterborough on Saturday, with the Phantoms hoping to close the gap to the division’s three early-season frontrunners.

The other game of the weekend sees Bristol host Romford on Saturday, with both sides looking to pick up two points which could see them rocket up the division.
