The National Ice Hockey League (NIHL) is pleased to publish fixtures for our four regional divisions for the 2025/26 season.
Clubs have been teasing fixtures for the past couple of days, but the full lists are out today and will have fans up and down the country filling their diaries for the next eight months.
In the NIHL 1 South, the eight teams will compete in the league and Britton Cup, while Invicta Dynamos, Chelmsford Chieftains, Slough Jets and Streatham Redhawks will also play in a Challenge Cup competition.
The NIHL 2 South’s 12 teams have their league and Wilkinson Cup competitions. The Eddie Joseph Memorial Cup also returns, featuring Lee Valley Lions, Invicta Mustangs, Oxford Rising Stars, Chelmsford Warriors, Peterborough Phantoms NIHL 2, Slough Spitfires and Haringey Huskies.
The NIHL 1 North has its 10 teams with just the league and Moralee Cup on their schedule.
Finally, in the NIHL 2 North, the nine teams have the league and Laidler Cup, while three sides – Altrincham Aces, Billingham Buccaneers and Coventry NIHL Blaze – will compete for the HockeyHound Challenge Cup.
An NIHL spokesperson said: “The fixture release is another summer milestone which means hockey is getting ever closer, and our teams, players and fans can look forward to another exciting season on the ice.”
Across the four divisions, opening weekend fixtures will be played over September 6/7.
A full list of the season’s key dates will be announced tomorrow.
