Nottingham Vipers launch ground-breaking women’s hockey programme

To mark International Women’s Day, Nottingham Vipers recently announced the launch of their Women’s Welcome to Hockey Programme, a ground-breaking initiative aimed at empowering young women in Nottingham to take the ice and discover the joy of ice hockey.

As the only female ice hockey club in the East Midlands, the Vipers say they are committed to unlocking opportunities and breaking down barriers to participation in the sport.

Their programme, in collaboration with Bauer, WILLIES.co.uk and the National Ice Centre, offers heavily subsidised ice time and the chance to loan top-quality Bauer equipment.

Starting on April 6, females aged 10-15yrs are invited to join the club for 24 weeks of fun, learning and ice hockey action every Sunday morning from 10:30am-12:30pm at the National Ice Centre.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, this programme could be for you!
