Sheffield Steelkings Para Ice Hockey Club will host their traditional Christmas “Winter Blast” exhibition game on Sunday 17 December at IceSheffield.

The game takes place at 3:40pm, and admission for the inter-squad friendly will be free.

There will also be a merchandise stall, with items on sale to pick up some last-minute Christmas essentials and support the club in the process.

On the importance of the Winter Blast, Steelkings chairman Jake Oakley said: “We understand that it can be difficult for families to keep their children entertained over the holidays, especially as we get closer to Christmas where money is tighter.

“We are offering an afternoon of free family-friendly entertainment whilst introducing kids to the exciting world of disability sports.”
