Steel Queens’ Lynne Sinclair celebrates special milestone

Earlier this month, Lynne Sinclair became Caledonia Steel Queens’ first club centurion.

On November 10, she celebrated game 100, having played for the Steel Queens during their time in the BUIHA and latterly in the WNIHL.

To celebrate the occasion, she was presented with a special tankard by Esme, one of the club’s U16 Iron Maidens.

It was a lovely moment as the young number 12 gave a nod to one of the dedicated individuals who has helped grow the club to what it is today.

On her achievements, Caledonia Steel Queens coach Richard Gray said: “Lynne is the embodiment of what a great leader should be – patient, hard-working, caring and welcoming.”
