‘What You Need To Know’ about the 20th Anniversary Final Four 2026

This weekend, the England Ice Hockey Events team and the Planet Ice National Ice Hockey League are proud to open the doors to the 20th Anniversary Final Four Weekend at Planet Ice Coventry. We’re thrilled to welcome fans from across the UK as six teams battle it out for silverware in what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of NIHL hockey.

To help ensure a smooth and hassle‑free entry into Planet Ice Coventry, we encourage all fans to read the information below before arriving this weekend.
The safety and security of everyone attending is our top priority. Our venue staff and security teams are fully trained and committed to providing a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for all visitors. Please allow plenty of time on arrival to complete the required security checks.
Our security and stewarding teams are professional, friendly, and approachable, and you’ll see them positioned throughout the venue. They’re always happy to answer questions and help where needed, so please cooperate with them as they carry out their important work to keep everyone safe.
We also ask all fans to remain vigilant. If you notice anything that causes concern, no matter how small, please report it to a member of our security team immediately so it can be checked and dealt with appropriately.

SECURITY CHECKS ON ARRIVAL
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone attending, security checks will be in place upon arrival at Planet Ice Coventry. All tickets will be checked and scanned, and bags will be searched with no exceptions.
Please be aware that no food, cans, bottles, or alcohol may be brought into the venue. Only food and drink purchased inside the arena may be consumed on site.
Exceptions will be considered only on proven medical grounds and must be agreed with the venue in advance.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us provide a safe and enjoyable event for all fans.

TICKET SCANNING
Before you arrive, we recommend downloading your tickets in advance and either saving them to your mobile device or bringing a printed copy with you.
On arrival, please have your tickets ready for scanning. If using your phone, turn the screen brightness up to maximum and zoom in on the QR code to help speed things up at entry.
Once your ticket has been scanned, you’ll receive a waterproof wristband, which will be valid for both days of the event.
Inside the venue, you’ll find a wide range of food and drink outlets available throughout the weekend.

Open inside Crosby’s Bar, serving up a range of pizza slices and fast food with a variety of drinks of snacks.

Open all weekend from 10am serving breakfast items from 10am to 11:30 each day, offering a wide range of refreshing soft and alcoholic drinks, plus bar snacks.

– Bar 1
Available under Block 12, hot dogs, pies, sausage rolls and variety of drinks and snacks.

– Bar 4
Available under Block 4, serving Hot dogs, pizza slices, sausage rolls, Jacket potatoes and snacks, variety of drinks including draught beer.

– Meal Hut
Located near Block 15, serving a range of meal options including pizza slices, snacks and drinks including draught beer.

– Floor Bar
Located in front of Skate Hire, serving a selection of draught beers, spirits, and bottled drinks. Hot dogs available here.

– England Ice Hockey Supporters Table
Located in Crosby’s Bar, featuring official merchandise, 50/50 ticket sales, and collection of 20th Anniversary Final Four Hoodies.

– Great Britain Supporters Club
Find their merchandise stand near Block 1, stocked with a great range of supporter gear.

50/50 Draw
50/50 tickets will be available from our sellers around the arena, easily recognisable in orange hi‑viz jackets, as well as from the Supporters Table in Crosby’s Bar.

• Tickets cost £1 each
• Sales close at the end of the 2nd intermission of the final game each day
• Winning numbers will be announced during the 3rd period of the final game and shared on social media

Both cash and card payments are accepted at the Supporters Table. Selected 50/50 sellers will also have card machines available.

COVENTRY HALF MARATHON
This year’s Coventry Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 19 April, which means several roads around the city will be closed. If you’re coming to cheer on your team at the NIHL 1 Championship Game between the Blackburn Hawks and the Slough Jets, please make sure you leave extra time for travel, parking, and getting into the arena.

Doors open at 11:00am, so plan ahead to soak up the atmosphere and not miss a moment of the action!
