Following last weekend’s action, the England Ice Hockey Department of Player Safety (DOPS) have issued the following sanctions:

• Henry Adams (Solihull Barons) | 2 game suspension – Illegal check to the head
  • Additional comments: Player was unaware of hit, and the action recklessly endangered the opponent.
• Charlie Thompson (Blackburn Hawks) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
• Ryan Jones (Deeside Dragons) | 2 game suspension – Illegal check to the head
  • Additional comments: Player was in a vulnerable position and was unaware of the hit, causing reckless endangerment.
• Lewis Rogers (Kingston Sharks) | 2 game suspension – Checking from behind
  • Additional comments: There was no attempt to play the puck. The action was reckless and the opponent was not in a position to defend themselves or see the hit coming.
• Jack Davis (Nottingham Lions NIHL 2) | 2 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Multiple punches were delivered to a downed opponent. A further punch was thrown after intervention by officials.
• Corey Taylor (MK Thunder) | 2 game suspension – Boarding
  • Additional comments: Opponent was in a vulnerable position, with his back to the checker and in dangerous proximity to the boards. The player made no attempt to pull out of the check, recklessly endangering his opponent.
• Leo Marky (Peterborough Phantoms NIHL 2) | 2 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: This notice was delayed due to a need to identify player involved (fixture was played on September 28). The player skated across the ice to start an altercation with players on the opposing bench.
• Brandon Miles (Slough Jets) | 3 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Sucker punch delivered to the head of an unwilling opponent, who was in a vulnerable position and unable to defend himself. The player also resisted the intervention of a linesman.
• Shay Woolmore (Romford Buccaneers) | 1 game suspension – Fighting
• Donald Campbell (Romford Buccaneers) | 2 game suspension – Fighting
  • Additional comments: Player resisted the intervention of a linesman.
• Alexander Cole (Romford Buccaneers) | 2 game suspension – Headbutting
